Double D Dexters of Scranton competed in the Dexter cattle show judged Aug. 14 at the Iowa State Fair.
Double D Dexters placed third, fifth and sixth in the junior heifer calf, 3/01/17 and after class; fourth in the young cows, 8/01/13 to 8/31/15 class; fourth in the mature cows, before 8/01/14 class; fifth in the cow/calf class;
third in the get of sire class; second and third in the alternative marketing class; third in the junior bull calf, 01/01/17 and after; first in the 2-year-old bull, 01/01/15 to 12/01/15 class; and first and second in the market steer class.
Double D Dexters earned the champion and reserve champion banners for steer.
